Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks took on the Prince George Spruce Kings for the seventh and final time this season.

Both teams found the back of the net in a back-and-forth first period. The Silverbacks found themselves at an early disadvantage when Tristan Allen got called for a slash within the first seven minutes of the game. On the powerplay, Owen Goodbrand was able to collect a loose puck at the side of the net and make it a 1-0 game. Two minutes later, Isaac Lambert finishes off a passing play with a snipe from the high slot to tie up the game at 1-1.

The Silverbacks add onto their lead in the second period. Three and a half minutes in, the Silverbacks head to their first powerplay of the game when Lucas Veilleux is handed the lone roughing call during a scrum in front of the bench. Isaac Lambert takes advantage by throwing a puck towards the net, catching the Charlie Zolin off guard for Lamberts second of the game. The Silverbacks would kill off a pair of penalties the rest of the middle frame.

The offensive floodgates opened up in the third for Salmon Arm. Right off the opening faceoff, eight seconds in, Ryan Gillespie and Isaac Lambert storm out on a two-on-one which Lambert finishes it off for the hat-trick. At the 13:28 mark, Lambert decides he is done with scoring as he feeds Nathan Mackie with a beautiful backdoor tap in to extend the lead to 4-1. With four minutes left and open ice to work with, due to a four-on-four, Nathaniel Davis jumps up on the rush and buries home his second of the year to make it a four goal game. In the final two minutes, Davis finds himself in the box for a cross-check and gives the Spruce Kings another chance on the powerplay. In the final minute, the Luca Primerano grabs another powerplay goal for his team.

Eli Pulver got back in the win column while making 25/27 saves.
