Salmon Arm, BC – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are seeking one individual to fill the role of Game Night Assistant for the 2023-24 BCHL season!
The Game Night Assistant will work during Silverback’s home games at the Shaw Centre to assist the marketing team in executing sponsorship promotions, and game night operations. This position will also work in the box office when required. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position with the opportunity to move full-time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting with various sponsor-related promotions, including contacting and escorting contestants for promotions, taking photos of contestants, touring the arena, and assisting with promotion setup
- Providing support in the office for the Partnership Marketing team by executing contests and managing contest winners
- Assisting the tracking and effectiveness of all sponsorship elements including building setup and delivery
- Assisting with non-game day events such as school visits, community events, in-house events
- Assists in organizing community events with corporate partners, as well as other businesses in Salmon Arm.
- Performs game night cash outs
- Fills in as game night promotion announcer when needed
- Assists with group ticket sales & corporate events
- Working Box office, Backs Shack shifts where required
- Other duties as required
- Assists with additional duties where required
Working Conditions:
The majority of work will be performed in the Shaw Centre. This is a part-time position with an opportunity for full-time for the right candidate.
Schedule:
This position will work all Silverbacks home games, including playoff games (April-May), as well as 1-2 days in the box office per week.
