Silverbacks bolster offense with another forward

Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have signed F Patrick Raftery (’04).

Raftery started the season in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Muskegon Lumberjacks where he suited up for 28 games, scored 3 goals, and added 4 assists for 7 points. The forward has played in the USHL for 3 years, in 146 games, totaling 11 goals, 25 assists, and 36 points.

“We’ve been following Patrick’s year closely and felt he was the final piece to complete our forward group,” said Silverbacks GM, Brooks Christensen. “His junior experience will help our group and looking forward to having him join us this week!”

The Centennial, Colorado forward is committed to play NCAA for the University of Maine.

“Super excited and honored to have this opportunity with such a great organization,” said Raftery. “Can’t wait to get there, get started, and make a run at the championship.”

The Silverbacks would like to welcome Patrick and his family to the organization and to Salmon Arm!
