Salmon Arm, BC – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have acquired D Tristan Allen (03′) from the Merritt Centennials in exchange for F Aidan Lindblad (04′), and future considerations.
Allen has spent the last three seasons as a Centennial, where he has played 106 games. He scored 4 goals, and added 44 assists, for 48 points over that time. He has 3 goals, and 21 assists for 24 points in 33 games this season. His 24 points has him tied for eighth in the BCHL by defenseman scoring.
“Going into this weeks trade deadline we needed to add a defensemen to help us out on our back with the current injuries we are facing.” Said Silverbacks General Manager, Brooks Christensen. “Our entire organization would like to thank Aidan for his contribution throughout our program. Moving a kid of Aidan’s character and work ethic is always the tough part of this job and can’t thank him enough for all he has done for our program.
Allen will join the Silverbacks on the trip into Wenatchee.
“We are excited to have Tristan joining our team and will look to get him helping our team immediately in Wenatchee, we believe he can contribute to all aspects of our teams play. We look forward to having Tristan apart of our community and playing in front of our fans this Friday night against his former team.” Added Christensen.
