Salmon Arm, B.C. — The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have announced the acquisition of forward Landon Mackie from the Victoria Grizzlies.
Mackie has spent the past three seasons playing for his hometown Grizzlies. Suiting up for 133 BCHL games, Mackie has recorded 29 goals and 40 assists for 69 points, establishing himself as a reliable and versatile offensive contributor.
“Landon is a character kid who was the captain for Victoria,” said GM and Head Coach, Tyler Shattock. “Anytime you can bring that into your organization, you’ll be better because of it. As a player, Landon has been a proven producer at the BCHL level. With his size and ability to finish around the net, he will be a big addition for our group heading down the stretch.”
The 19-year-old adds experience and depth up front as the Silverbacks continue to strengthen their roster moving forward.
The Silverbacks would like to welcome Landon and his family to the organization and to Salmon Arm!
