Not Enough On Home Ice

The Salmon Arm SilverBacks will look to snap a four game losing streak on Saturday in Penticton, following a 4-2 Friday loss on home ice to the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.

Adam Clark made 26 saves in a losing cause for the SilverBacks, as only Alex Jewell and Cole McCaskill were able to muster goals for a Salmon Arm team that has not been able to steal a point since January 4th.

The Bulldogs scored two goals in both the 1st Period, and 3rd Period, en route to the 4-2 victory, with goaltender Connor LaCouvee making 23 saves in the process.

Alberni Valley had recently bested Salmon Arm just one week ago, in Port Alberni, also by a score of 4-2.

The SilverBacks find themselves in Penticton on Saturday, in the 2nd game of a 3 game weekend, with a date at home on Sunday against the Vernon Vipers.
