The Salmon Arm SilverBacks are pleased to announce that the team's Annual Awards Banquet will be held on Sunday, March 2nd, at Intermission's Restaurant, at the Shaw Centre.
The Evening will begin at 6pm, with cocktails starting at 5:30pm.
Each year, the 'Backs hand out more than 10 awards, including such nominations as Top Rookie, Top Defender, Unsung Hero, MVP, and more. A number of current SilverBack players were awarded at last year's banquet, including Bryden Marsh, Alex Gillies, Adam Clark, and Brendan Kennedy.
'Backs fans will be given the opportunity to vote on the Fan Favourite Award at the team's final two games; on February 22nd, and February 28th, respectively.
SilverBacks Booster Club Members, and Volunteers, are invited to the Evening, which will include a meal, to go along with door prizes, and the Annual Awards to follow.
A limited number of tickets to the event will be made available to the General Public, and can be purchased at a price of $20, by contacting the 'Backs Box Office, or by calling 250-832-3856.
