Salmon Arm, BC – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are pleased to announce that D William Lavigne (02′) has committed to Albertus Magnus College.
Lavigne has spent the past three seasons in Salmon Arm in which he accumulated 126 regular-season games played. His best season came this year as he tallied six goals and added seventeen assists for twenty-three points. He was one of five Silverbacks who suited up in all 54 regular-season games in the 2022/23 campaign.
“I am extremely excited to have the chance to continue playing hockey at Albertus Magnus.” Stated Lavigne. “The past three years in the Silverbacks organization were amazing. I want to thank everyone in the Salmon Arm organization that helped me become a better hockey player and a better person off the ice.”
The product of Blainville, QC was recently named the recipient of our “Score for School” scholarship program to help further his hockey and education.
“We’re extremely happy for Will on his achievement. Will has continued to be a staple on our d-core and progress his game on all aspects.” Said Silverbacks General Manager, Brooks Christensen. “We’d like to wish him and his family the best of luck next season at Albertus Magnus College.”
