This Sunday, the Salmon Arm Silverbacks are having their annual ” SASCU Skate with the Backs” after the game concludes against the Cranbrook Bucks. His is an excellent opportunity for fans and kids to meet the Silverbacks players.
Head Coach and Assistant General Manager Tyler Shattock says it’s a lot of fun for the players, too. “The guys always come in from the skate with huge smiles, and it means a lot to them to get to know the people who cheer for them every weekend from the stands.”
The game will be a 4:00 puck drop this Sunday afternoon. Anyone interested in participating after the game must bring a helmet.
Fans do not have to wear masks while skating on the ice but must be fully vaccinated to enter the Shaw Centre.
