Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have traded forward Jacob Bonkowski (’03) to the Coquitlam Express for future considerations.
Bonkowski was acquired in an off-season trade with the Surrey Eagles and has suited up for 28 games with the Silverbacks, scoring 8 goals and adding 7 assists. The Richmond product is heading back to the Coastal Conference where he spent the first 3 seasons of his BCHL career, scoring 101 points in 129 games.
“We’d like to wish Jacob all the best with his new team and thank him for his efforts here in Salmon Arm,” said Silverbacks GM, Brooks Christensen.
