Silverbacks add another forward for the rest of the season

Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have signed F Tanner Walos (’05).

Walos started the season in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with Fargo Force where the 18-year-old has scored 1 goal and 4 assists in 31 games played. In total, the forward has spent the past 2 and a half years in the USHL where he has played in 133 games, scoring 8 goals and 20 assists for 28 points.

“We’re excited to get Tanner into our lineup immediately this weekend,” said Silverbacks GM, Brooks Christensen. “Adding a player with his skating ability, compete & experience, we felt like this was a perfect fit to help our group down the stretch and into playoffs.”

The Hartland, Wisconsin product is committed to play NCAA for the University of Wisconsin.

“I’m incredibly excited to be joining the Salmon Arm Silverback organization since I have heard nothing but great things about the team, staff, and community,” said Walos. “I will do everything I can to proudly represent the organization and hope to be part of helping the organization earn a Fred Page Cup at the end of the season. I can’t wait to get started!”

The Silverbacks would like to welcome Tanner and his family to the organization and to Salmon Arm!
