Silverbacks forward Lian Gayfer moving on from hockey

Salmon Arm, B.C. – After being a part of the Salmon Arm Silverbacks’ organization for the past three seasons, forward Lian Gayfer has accepted a new opportunity away from hockey and will be leaving the organization.

“I would just like to say a big thank you to all of the coaches, teammates, and billet families for a great couple of years with the Silverbacks,” said Gayfer.

Gayfer has played in 39 games in the BCHL over the span of three seasons, all with the Silverbacks, and has 3 goals and 4 assists for 7 points. The Kamloops product also suited up for 11 playoff games, registering 2 assists.

“We’d like to thank Gayfs for his dedication during his time with the program,” said Silverbacks Head Coach, Tyler Shattock. “He was a fantastic team mate, came to the rink prepared to compete every single day and will miss having him around. We are very happy for him in this new opportunity and wish him all the best!”

The Salmon Arm Silverbacks thank Lian for his contribution to the organization and wish him the best moving forward!
