Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have signed goalie Preston Lewis (’06) for the 2024/25 season.
Lewis is playing with the Burnaby Winter Club U18 Prep team in the CSSHL where the 17-year-old has a 12-12-0 record with a 3.14 GAA and a 0.919 SV% in 26 games played.
“Preston had a strong year with BWC and we felt he has earned his spot with our program,” said Silverbacks GM, Brooks Christensen. “Our group has been impressed with his work ethic and structure to his game and look forward to adding him to our roster next season.”
The Salmon Arm native will also be serving as a Black Ace, meaning Lewis can be added to the active roster for playoffs.
“I’m super excited to join such a great organization and to play in front of my home town,” said Lewis.
The Silverbacks would like to welcome Preston to the organization!
