Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have signed forward Tommy Cronin (’04).
Cronin started the year playing in the USHL with the Green Bay Gamblers where the 20-year-old had two assists in eight games. Last year, the Edina, Minnesota born forward played 41 games with the Bismarck Bobcats in the NAHL where he scored 21 goals and 38 assists for 59 points.
“Bringing in Tommy will add to our forward depth,” said Silverbacks GM and Head Coach, Tyler Shattock. “We were looking for a guy to come in and help our powerplay and be able to establish and offensive presence for us. With his 59 points in 41 games in the NAHL, we think he will be able to do that here.”
The talented forward also spent three seasons with St. Thomas Academy in the USHS-MN where he put up 118 points, 54 goals and 64 assists, in 72 games.
“I’m excited to be in Salmon Arm,” said Cronin. “I think it’s a great opportunity to be apart of a good team in a great position.”
Cronin is committed to Colgate University.
The Silverbacks would like to welcome Tommy and his family to the organization and to Salmon Arm!
