Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have signed defenseman Chase Bambrick (’06).
Bambrick has spent time playing in the WHL with the Wenatchee Wild where he started the season playing in 11 games, putting up 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points. The 5’11” defenseman spent all last season with the Wild as well where he had 1 goal and 5 assists for 6 points in 47 games played.
“We’re very excited to get Chase,” said Silverbacks GM and Head Coach, Tyler Shattock. “He’s a guy with junior experience. He skates well and offensively is going to bring an element to our D core we need.”
The Nelson, B.C. native also spent two seasons playing in Alberta with the Lethbridge Hurricanes U18 AAA team where he had 34 points, 10 goals and 24 assists, in 73 games.
“I am really excited to be back in B.C. playing and am looking forward to playing for the Silverbacks this season,” said Bambrick.
