Maddux Martin returns to the Silverbacks

Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are proud to announce the return of Forward Maddux Martin (’05).

Returning to his hometown of Salmon Arm, Martin has spent the past three seasons with the Silverbacks, racking up a total of 157 games played with 38 goals and 49 assists for 87 points. The 20-year-old served as the Silverbacks captain last season.

“We would like to welcome Maddux back home,” said Silverbacks GM and Head Coach, Tyler Shattock. “Anytime we can get someone of Maddux’s character and work ethic back into the fold of our team, is a huge win for us. I’m sure everyone in town will be excited to get to watch the local kid for another year.”

In a corresponding move, Grady Hoffman will be moving on from the Silverbacks.

“We’d like to thank Grady Hoffman for his time as a Silverback,” said Shattock. “He’s been an outstanding teammate while here and wish him nothing but the best.”
