Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are pleased to announce that F Maddux Martin (05′) has committed to Merrimack College.
The 18-year-old is in his second season with the Silverbacks where the centreman is having a breakout year, scoring 12 goals and 18 assists for 30 points in 42 games so far. In total, the Salmon Arm native has scored 41 points in 91 BCHL games. He also contributed with 8 playoff points last season, helping the Silverbacks reach the Interior Conference Finals.
“I’m super excited to be joining a program like Merrimack,” said Martin. “It’s something I’ve been working towards for a long time, and wouldn’t have been able to accomplish it without the support from my family, coaches, and teammates. I’m super excited for the future.”
