Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are excited to announce the appointment of Josh Dubinsky as the team’s new Assistant General Manager. Dubinsky, who has been an integral part of the Silverbacks’ recent successes, will remain on the bench as an Assistant Coach and bring his extensive experience and strategic insight to his new role.
“First of all, I would like to thank Brooks and the ownership group for everything over the past two seasons,” said Dubinsky. “The organization has become one of the premier destinations in the BCHL for players, staff, and management, and I am excited to continue with the team in a more enhanced role.”
Since joining the Silverbacks coaching staff, Dubinsky has played a pivotal role in guiding the team to back-to-back Interior Conference Finals appearances. His deep understanding of the game and commitment to player development have been key factors in the team’s recent achievements.
“Josh has earned the opportunity to take on more responsibility,” said GM and Head Coach, Tyler Shattock. “He does a great job with our players and has adapted to whatever has been thrown at him. He will be a great asset for our organization in his elevated role.”
Before joining the Silverbacks, Dubinsky accumulated valuable coaching experience with several prestigious organizations. He served as an Assistant Coach at Ridley College in the Midwest Prep Hockey League (MPHL), as well as with the Kenai River Brown Bears in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and the Omaha Lancers in the United States Hockey League (USHL).
“I am looking forward to having all the guys return to town, and to continue working alongside Tyler, Angus, Alex, and everyone else in the organization to pursue the goal of bringing a championship to the City of Salmon Arm,” added Dubinsky.
