The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are excited to announce that forward Justin Wilson has received an honourable mention for the BCHL player of the week.
In three games this past weekend, the third year Silverback had three goals and one assist. He scored on his first shift of the game against the Victoria Grizzlies to open the scoring, and scored a key goal late in the second to provide his side with a two goal lead heading to the third.
In 107 regular season games, the North Vancouver product has 30 goals and 34 assists for 64 points.
This weekend, the Silverbacks take on the West Kelowna Warriors in a home-and-home series. Friday the team will be down in West Kelowna, while Saturday the rivalry shifts back to Salmon Arm in the Shaw Centre. Tickets for Saturday’s game will be available at the Silverbacks box office starting Tuesday.
