Silverbacks welcome Jason Podollan as Mental Performance Coach

Salmon Arm, BC – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are pleased to announce the hiring of Jason Podollan as the teams new Mental Performance Coach.

Podollan comes to the Silverbacks with a wealth of knowledge as he currently is running Up My Hockey which helps hockey players work on the mental side of the game.

Along with his knowledge of the game, Podollan was also drafted into the NHL in the 1994 Draft (2nd round – 31st overall) by the Florida Panthers. He played games with the Florida Panthers, Toronto Maple Leafs, Los Angeles Kings, and the New York Islanders. He also played for Team Canada at the 1996 U-20 World Junior Championship.

Podollan said he is thrilled for the opportunity ahead with the Silverbacks.

Taking initiative to secure dedicated support for the personal development and mental fitness of the Silverback players is something I applaud.
