Silverbacks name Ryan Lauderdale as Strength & Conditioning Coach

Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have named Ryan Lauderdale as the club’s Strength & Conditioning Coach, bringing a world-class performance background to the organization.

Lauderdale has trained elite athletes across the NHL, NFL, MLB, and NCAA, and has developed hockey players advancing to the NHL, BCHL, and USHL. A Nike Master Trainer since 2011, he has worked globally with top athletes, contributed to product development, and led large-scale training programs through Nike Training Club.

“Improving our strength and conditioning program was a priority,” said President of Hockey Operations Jamie Storr. “Ryan is one of the best I’ve seen at building strength and speed, while also focusing on flexibility and injury prevention. He brings elite experience working with top athletes across the highest levels of hockey and professional sports.”

Lauderdale’s approach combines strength, speed, and mobility to maximize performance while reducing injury risk, with a focus on building athletes who can perform consistently over the course of a full season.

“I’m excited to join the Silverbacks and get to work,” said Lauderdale. “The goal is to build athletes who are stronger, faster, and more durable—players who can separate themselves every night and sustain that level all season.”

The addition of Lauderdale represents a significant investment in performance and player development as the Silverbacks continue to raise standards across the organization.
