Billet families play a vital role within the Silverback organization, as players need a place to call home while they are representing the city as members of the team. Additionally, many players may be living away from home for the first time, which can be a big change.
Being a billet is a very unique and rewarding experience, one that gives an inside look at the development and growth of a young hockey player, both on and off the ice. Many of the relationships between a player and his billet family last well beyond well beyond junior hockey.
As a billet family, you will receive free season tickets plus a monthly allowance.
The Silverbacks would like to thank Jason and Casandra Schubert for their help as billet coordinator the past two seasons and also welcome Leah Walker as the new billet coordinator!
