Silverbacks acquire Keifer Miller from the Spruce Grove Saints

Salmon Arm, B.C. –  The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have acquired Forward Keifer Miller (’05) from the Spruce Grove Saints for Defenceman Carson Olsen (’06).

Miller started the season with the Saints, scoring 6 goals and 17 assists for 23 points in 31 games. The 19-year-old has since played 7 games with the Canmore Eagles in the AJHL, scoring 3 goals and 3 assists. The Banff, Alberta product is committed to College of Holy Cross.

“With Carson requesting a trade, we felt it was a good opportunity to get a really good player in Keifer Miller,” said Silverbacks GM and Head Coach Tyler Shattock. “He has BCHL experience and has been productive when in the league. We look for him to come in and help our forward group and be a contributor down the stretch and into the playoffs.”

The Salmon Arm Silverbacks would like to welcome Keifer and his family to the organization!

Heading back the other way is 18-year-old Carson Olsen. In 34 games with the Silverbacks, the Warman, Saskatchewan product had 6 assists.

The Salmon Arm Silverbacks would like to thank Carson for his dedication to the organization and wish him nothing but the best in Spruce Grove.
