Redmond BCHL Player Of The Week

RedmondSalmon Arm Silverbacks goaltender Angus Redmond has been named the BCHL Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 10, the league announced Monday.

Redmond led the ‘Backs to a pair of big road wins and was named 1st Star both nights. The Langley, B.C. product stopped 51 shots for his third shutout of the season in a 4-0 win over the Wenatchee Wild and followed that be becoming the first goalie to record a win in Penticton this season after making 39 saves in a 4-2 win over the Vees.

The Michigan Tech commit wound up making 90 saves on 92 shots for a .978 save percentage to go along with a 1.00 goals-against average.
