Salmon Arm Sports Inc is looking to hire a Full time Store Manager for Maximum Edge Hockey Shop.
Located in the Shaw Centre, Maximum Edge is the hockey shop which sells equipment, Silverback merchandise, Skate rentals and skate sharpening.
JOB DUTIES:
- Keeping track of inventory & ordering new inventory
- Retail Selling of hockey equipment and Silverbacks merchandise
- Sharpening Skates (training provided, but previous experience is an asset)
- Marketing the store online using the Facebook page and any other mediums available
- Setting store hours and shift schedules for other Maximum Edge Employees
- Hiring and management of store employees
- Keeping track of daily sales records and relaying information to team accountant
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Good communication is vital for communicating with Hockey Ops and other Salmon Arm Sports Inc employees
- Self sufficient and good under pressure situations
- Efficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Hockey Knowledge
- Skate Sharpening experience is considered an asset, but training is included with the position
- Retail & Inventory experience is required
