Salmon Arm B.C. — The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are excited to announce the acquisition of 17-year-old forward Isaac Lambert from the Ottawa Jr. Senators of the Central Canada Hockey League in exchange for future considerations.
Lambert, from Victoriaville, Que., was unable to play last season in the CCHL due to the COVID pandemic, but recorded 36 points (15G, 21A) in 42 games for the Trois-Rivières Estacades in the Quebec Midget AAA Hockey League during the 2019-20 season. His 36 points ranked second on his team that season and were just outside the top-20 league-wide.
“We are excited to add Isaac to our lineup for the upcoming season. He’s a highly skilled forward who we think will bring complimentary scoring to our roster,” Silverbacks general manager Brooks Christensen said. “He’s a really good kid who we feel will mesh perfectly with our team culture and make a difference in our community.”
Lambert comes to the Backs with an NCAA commitment to the University of Maine. He was selected in the 5th round of the 2019 QMJHL Entry Draft by the Rimouski Oceanic.
The Silverbacks would like to welcome Isaac to Salmon Arm!
