Assistant Coach Josh Dubinsky returning to the bench for another season

Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are happy to announce the extension of Video Coach and Assistant Coach, Josh Dubinsky.

“We’re happy to have Josh returning for this upcoming season, I think he’s continued to learn and work on developing as a young coach,” said Silverbacks GM, Brooks Christensen. “He brings a wealth of knowledge on the video side of the game and believes our players will benefit from implementing more off-ice development.”

Dubinsky is excited to continue the development of the organization.

“I am very excited to be back with Silverbacks for another season,” said Dubinsky. “I really enjoyed my first year in Salmon Arm, and am looking forward to building off our successes from last season. I would like to thank our owners, as well as Brooks and Tyler for their belief in me, and I am eager to get back to the rink and begin working towards bringing a championship to the city of Salmon Arm!”

In Dubinsky’s first season on the bench, he played a role in helping the team to the conference finals in the 22/23 season. The Montreal native has plenty of experience coaching, previously serving as an Assistant Coach for Ridley College in the Midwest Prep Hockey League (MPHL), and also for the Kenai River Brown Bears (NAHL) and the Omaha Lancers (USHL).
