Salmon Arm, BC – The 2022/23 BCHL Round one playoff matchups have been set. The Salmon Arm Silverbacks (4) and Prince George Spruce Kings (5) will meet up in the opening round of the post-season.
The two teams met seven times over the course of the season in which the Silverbacks grabbed the season-series four games to three. The teams combined for 34 goals over the course of seven games which made for entertaining matchups throughout the season. Six out of the seven games were decided by two goals or less.
They became familiar opponents in the second half of the calendar year as they met five times over the course of the final six weeks of the regular season, including the 2023 BCHL Road Show in Burns Lake.
