Backs Host Warriors

SALMON ARM, BC- The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are looking to bounce back from an ugly 5-0 loss last night on home ice to Prince George. It was the Backs’ third time getting shut out at home this season. This afternoon they will welcome another division rival to the Shaw Centre. The West Kelowna Warriors will be in town for their fourth meeting of the season. The Backs have won two of the previous three meetings, including a 6-2 victory on the road just two days ago. Simon Tassy and Owen Say led the way for the Silverbacks. Simon Tassy will look to rebound after being held pointless. This may be the team to get Tassy back on track, as he has 18 goals in his last 13 games played against the Warriors. The Silverbacks sit 2nd in the Interior Division with a 16-4-1 record, while the Warriors sit right behind them in third place with a 13-7 record. Following the game, today is SASCU ‘Skate with the Backs’. SASCU members get two for one tickets at the box office. All you have to do is show your debit or credit card when purchasing tickets!
