Salmon Arm B.C. — The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have added 19-year-old goaltender Cole Schwebius on loan from the Western Hockey League’s Kelowna Rockets.
Schwebius, from Kelowna, played in 21 games for the Rockets last season, posting a 7-11-0 record, 3.57 goals-against average and .898 save percentage. In 38 career WHL games, he has a 3.72 G.A.A. and .893 save percentage.
Prior to playing in the WHL, Schwebius attended Okanagan Hockey Academy for his 16-year-old season and then played for the Okanagan Rockets major midget team in the 2017-18 season.
