“I am very excited to have Angus back with our organization, said Silverbacks GM Brooks Christens. "Angus was a great team mate and leader in his time with the Silverbacks and believe he will help our entire team with his knowledge and passion for the game. Being fresh out of his playing days I believe will help our goalies in preparing them for the season and what it takes to play at the NCAA & pro levels."
Redmond also signed a three year entry level contract with the Anaheim Ducks and spent the past five season playing in the ECHL and AHL. He says he's excited to be coming back to Salmon Arm.
“Now that my playing career is over, I am very grateful for the opportunity to stay involved in the game and be back with the Silverbacks organization. Salmon Arm has always felt like a second home to me since I played my four years of junior hockey there, so I’m very excited to move back and get the season started!”
Please join us in welcoming Angus back to Salmon Arm.
