SALMON ARM, B.C. - The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have released their 54-game schedule for the upcoming season. The schedule currently does not include dates for the BCHL Showcase, where each team plays two regular-season games. A full Showcase schedule will be announced at a later date.

“I think the BCHL league office did a phenomenal job at creating the schedule this year" says Silverback's GM Brooks Christensen. "We're very happy with the layout of our schedule and excited to offer so many prime nights on Friday’s & Saturday’s to our fans.
Our focus this year is going to be directed more to the youth in our community. We have 2 weekday games that will be held at 6pm starts to help with younger children attending those games along with Saturday games continuing at 6pm.
With only one Sunday home game on our schedule we look forward to teaming up with SASCU again to bring the SASCU Skate with the Backs to the Shaw Centre and hopefully make it a big event following that game."
The Silverbacks home-opener will take place Friday, September 23rd vs the Vernon Vipers.
