Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are pleased to announce the hiring of Liam Anderson, as the team’s Athletic Therapist for the upcoming 2023-24 season.
“We’re thrilled to have Liam joining our staff,” said Silverbacks GM, Brooks Christensen.” After getting to know Liam this off-season assisting with our ID camps, we felt he would be a great fit with our group. Player safety is extremely important to our organization and believe Liam will have our players best interest throughout the season.”
Anderson spent last year with the RINK Hockey Academy in Kelowna, but before that spent time as a strength and conditioning coach with RINK-Testify Winning and the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
“I’m thrilled to have been given the opportunity to work with such a dedicated staff and a talented group of players,” said Anderson. “The organization has built a fantastic culture here in Salmon Arm and I appreciate the trust the Silverbacks have placed in me to oversee player health and safety.”
Originally from Richmond, B.C., Anderson got his Bachelor of Arts in Human Kinetics (Kinesiology) from St. Francis Xavier University in 2017 before completing his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy at the University of Winnipeg.
