Salmon Arm, BC – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have come to terms on a contract extension with Tony Trozzo as the Director of Broadcasting & Communications. The contract will extend him through the end of the 2023/24 season, with a staff-option for the 2024/25 season.
“It’s great to have Tony staying long term with our organization. He’s done a tremendous job since arriving here helping in all aspects of our business.” Says Silverbacks GM, Brooks Christensen. “He’s passionate about what he does and takes pride in his work. We’d like to thank Tony for the continued hard work daily for our program and looking forward to seeing his on air and media production grow.”
Trozzo said that he is excited to continue to grow within the organization.
“I am absolutley thrilled to sign a contract extension with the Silverbacks. My first season with the team has provided me with a strong foundation to continue to build on. I am very excited to continue to help grow the Silverbacks brand on, and off the ice”
Trozzo joined the Silverbacks organization this past summer following his graduation from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology’s Radio, Television, & Broadcast News program.
