Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks have acquired forward Alex Sandhu (’05) from the Coquitlam Express for future considerations.
Sandhu spent last season with the Powell River Kings where the 6’0″ forward scored 5 goals and 14 assists for 19 points in 52 games. The Delta product has spent the last two seasons in the BCHL, playing with the Kings and the Surrey Eagles where he has put up 26 points in 100 games.
“Alex brings size, skill, and league experience up front for us,” said Silverbacks GM, Brooks Christensen. “When he became available, we felt it fit what we were looking for and after having him in Salmon Arm this past weekend, we feel he will fit perfectly with our group and style of play.”
