Salmon Arm, BC – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are pleased to announce the promotion of Melanie Penner to the Business Manger Position.
“We’ve had a very successful first half of the year with our business operations. With Kierra on Maternity leave it’s giving Mel an opportunity to take on more responsibility within our organization.” Said Silverbacks General Manager, Brooks Christensen. “Mel has continued to learn our operations and we believe she’s a great fit to continue building on the success of our business. She’s well connected throughout the Salmon Arm community, and I look forward to working with her and growing our connections in the community.”
Penner says that she is looking forward to the new position.
“I am excited to continue to grow with the Silverbacks organization. During my first few months with the team I have enjoyed meeting so many of the corporate sponsors and fans, and look forward to continuing to build these relationships. The community support that the team has surrounding them is amazing and I look forward to continuing to enhance the experience for the fans.”
Penner will also be overseeing the Marketing Position while Director of Marketing, Kierra Lentz is on maternity leave.
