The Salmon Arm SilverBacks want to remind the hockey-going community of Salmon Arm and the Shuswap, that the team will be hosting a New Year's Eve Gala on December 31st of this year.
The doors at the SASCU Recreation Centre will be open at 7:30 on that Evening, with the Lead Painted Toys playing tunes, along with a cash bar, Silent Auction and appetizers to appeal to all those in attendance.
SilverBacks GM and Head Coach Troy Mick says this will be a great event for all those with an interest in hockey in Salmon Arm "This isn't just about the SilverBacks, this is also a fundraiser for Salmon Arm Minor Hockey, and we're hoping to see all the friendly faces associated with the Shaw Centre at our event on that Evening."
The event will provide a nice buffer for anxious hockey fans, as it falls directly inbetween the 'Backs final game of the 2013 calendar year and the first game of 2014.
The team will only be selling 350 tickets for the event, at a price of $40; which can be purchased by calling the 'Backs Box office at 832-3856, ext 308.
