The Salmon Arm SilverBacks; with support of the SilverBacks Booster Club Society, are excited to announce the 'Hockey 101' initiative, which will give fans a chance to learn more about the ever-changing rules of Junior 'A' Hockey.
GM and Head Coach Troy Mick will host the event at the Shaw Centre, later this month, and says this is a great tool for new fans, and those who just want to know a bit more about the game "We see the rules change so often; whether it's the BCHL or the NHL, so it seemed natural that some fans might have questions about the finer points of the rule book that we could assist with. As far as were concerned, an informed fan is an active fan, and that's the end goal of this learning opportunity."
