Langenegger Again Named BCHL Player of the Week

Salmon Arm, B.C. — For the second straight week, the BCHL has named Salmon Arm Silverbacks goaltender Ethan Langenegger the Player of the Week, this time for the week ending Oct. 20.

The 19-year-old Kamloops native once again won both of his starts, this time making 74 saves on 76 combined shots for a .974 SV%.

On Wednesday, the Lake Superior State University commit made 41 saves on 43 shots in a 5-2 win over the Penticton Vees. On Sunday, he stopped all 33 shots he faced in a 2-0 win over the Nanaimo Clippers. He was named the first star in both games.

Langenegger is now tied for the most wins in the BCHL with 10, is tied for third in save percentage (.939) and ranks fourth in goals-against-average (1.83)
