Salmon Arm, BC – The Silverbacks are pleased to announce that F Jayden Grier (03′) has committed to Colby College!
Grier is in his first season with the Silverbacks where he has recorded 5 goals, and 7 assists for 12 points in 31 games.
“We’re very happy for Jayden to be continuing his education next season with Colby College.” Said Silverbacks General Manager, Brooks Christensen. “Throughout the season Jayden has continued to develop and work at all aspects of his game. With the unfortunate recent injury, we hope that surgery goes smoothly and can recover quickly to be ready to play next fall.”
“I want to thank everyone in Salmon Arm for making this year incredible. I learned so much on and off the ice, and enjoyed my time here very much.” Said Grier. “Regarding my commitment, with my injury and where I am in my career, I felt it was best for me to continue onto play college hockey next year.”
