Salmon Arm, B.C. — On the latest edition of Catching up with the Backs, we chat with Silverbacks alumnus Adrian Veideman, a Sicamous native who is now retired from hockey and living in Denver, CO.
After playing for the Silverbacks in the franchise’s first two seasons from 2001-03, he won back-to-back NCAA National Championships with the Denver Pioneers. Subsequently, his pro career took him from Augusta, GA, to Des Moines, IA, to Germany, Austria, Norway and finally back to the U.S., where he wrapped up his career for the Colorado Eagles in 2015-16.
Veideman shares his fondest memories from his two Silverbacks seasons, the latter of which he served as captain. Plus, he talks about his time at the University of Denver, in Europe, and he shares his advice for current junior players.
