In the 3rd period of play, it took until 14:04 for Merritt to best goaltender Angus Redmond, as Rhett Wilcox put one in from Adam Tracey, and Zach Hartley to make the game 5-1.

The SilverBacks did get on the score-sheet again before this one ended, right after Landon Smith had a goal called off, he made good on a tip from an Alex Gillies shot and got his 2nd of the game, on the power-play from Gillies, and Farny to make the final score 5-2 Centennials.
