Assistant Coach Josh Dubinsky signs an extension

Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are happy to announce the extension of Video Coach and Assistant Coach, Josh Dubinsky.

“We’re fortunate to have Josh back for another season working with our group,” said Silverbacks GM, Brooks Christensen. “I thought he took a step in growing as a professional this season. He’s had more responsibility put on his plate and did a great job accepting the challenge. Building off what we did this past season, we’re excited to have him back and continue the work of building a competitive program every year.”

Dubinsky is looking ahead to next season ready to build further with the organization.

“I am extremely excited to be back in Salmon Arm for another year,” said Dubinsky. “We took a positive step this season, but still have to take another one in order to reach our ultimate goal. I am looking forward to working with Brooks, Tyler, and Angus again, as well as both our new and returning players, to reach that goal of hoisting the Fred Page Cup.”

Dubinsky has helped the Silverbacks reach the Interior Conference Finals in back-to-back seasons since joining the coaching staff. The Montreal native has plenty of experience coaching, previously serving as an Assistant Coach for Ridley College in the Midwest Prep Hockey League (MPHL), and also for the Kenai River Brown Bears (NAHL) and the Omaha Lancers (USHL).
