Salmon Arm, B.C. – The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are pleased to announce that Goalie Andrew Ballantyne (’04) has committed Ontario Tech University.
Ballantyne spent one season in Salmon Arm where he put up a 18-11-5 record with a 2.60 GAA and a 0.909 SV%. He participated in the All-Star game and was one of the three finalists for the Goalie of the Year award. In his two seasons in the BCHL, the Whitby, Ontario native had a 30-24-8 record with a 3.00 GAA and a 0.905 SV%.
