The Salmon Arm Silverbacks are proud to share that alumni Nick Hutchinson was named the Atlantic Hockey Association’s Offensive Player of the Week! A member of Canisius College, in their opening weekend Hutchinson scored three goals and added one assist. Playing Holy Cross the team split the weekend thanks to a 7-6 win Saturday night.
Spending two years with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, Hutchinson played a combined 63 games and racking up 52 points. In his first two years with Canisius, the forward played 75 games with 55 points. In two games this year he already has the four points to his name.
Hutchinson and his teammates welcome Air Force Academy this weekend where current Silverback Trevor Adams is committed to.
Salmon Arm has three games this week playing Wednesday night in Merritt before playing at home Friday to Alberni Valley and Sunday afternoon in the Shaw Centre against the Vernon Vipers.
