In the 2nd period , Trail once again grabbed the lead on a wrist-shot by D Man Sean Davis; beating Adam Clark high side to make it 2-1.

The 'Backs tied it once again, when Alex Gillies scored on the Power-play – getting helpers from his top line with Anderson and Smith to draw even at 2-2. The Silverbacks out-shot Trail 26-15 through the first 40 minutes.

In the 3rd, Thomas Plese connected on the rush thanks to Brett Fagerheim and Alex Jewell, to make the game 3-2 Salmon Arm.
