West Kelowna took its second two goal lead of the game at 8:24 of the third, a power-play goal with Turcotte penalized for checking from behind as well as a game misconduct. 18-year-old Mitch Martan had the Warriors goal on the man-advantage and the visitors lead 4-2.

But, the ‘Backs got back within 1 in the final 5 minutes of the third as second season Silverback defenceman Cameron Trott fired home his first of the pre-season at 15:41.

The Silverbacks outshot the Warriors 12-10 in the third and 37-26 Silverbacks total.
