A much livelier end to Day Two of SilverBacks training camp saw Team Black earn a 6-4 victory in the second intra-squad game.
Jeff Kennedy scored twice, added an assist and picked up a fighting major in Tuesday evening's game, as Black stormed out to an early lead, then withstood a White comeback late in the third period.
Veterans Alex Jewell and Blake Box scored for White, while Jewell's linemate Evan Anderson chipped in with two helpers.
The two teams practiced Tuesday morning, but will now rest for Wednesday's Black and White game. The annual Training Camp capper goes at 2:30 pm at Shaw Centre. Admission is free.
The 'Backs begin their 2013-14 exhibition season Thursday in Merritt.
