SALMON ARM, December 13, 2017 — The Salmon Arm Silverbacks Hockey Club is pleased to announced that Goalie Reid Cooper has accepted a scholarship offer to attend Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
“Cooper has had an outstanding Junior A career in the BCHL with the Coquitlam Express and last week turned in an outstanding performance at the World Junior A Challenge Canada West Selection Camp in Calgary. We are very fortunate to have a person of Reid’s caliber in our organization, he is a high character person, who also happens to be a great goaltender.” stated Head Coach Scott Atkinson.
The Corman Park, Saskatchewan native played with the Notre Dame Hounds Midget AAA program before joining the BCHL in 2016.
