‘Backs Head To Trail For Friday Game

The Salmon Arm SilverBacks sent their fans home happy on Thursday Evening, with a 7-2 triumph over the visiting Trail Smoke Eaters.

Salmon Arm opened the flood gates in the 3rd frame, scoring three goals in 140 seconds for a 5-0 advantage; thanks to the efforts of Evan Anderson, Alex Jewell and the addition of Cole McCaskill's 1st BCHL marker.

Trail's Scott Davidson and Joel Webb posted goals in the 3rd Period to get Trail on the board, but the 'Backs Connor Brown-Maloski and Jack Berezan also scored late in the game; in what turned out to be a 7-2 'Backs win.

Angus Redmond was tested more, and more as the game progressed, posting 26 saves in his 4th win of the young season.
